About this guide
Where The Rail's money comes from
Three paid links on The Rail's home page earn this guide a commission. No casino or poker room pays for anything on it, and links to casinos are never paid.

Three links marked Ad
Only the home page carries paid links, and there are three of them. One sits in the menu. Another appears in a block just below the first screen, and the third comes near the end of the page. Each is marked Ad, and all three lead to the same online casino partner.
The site earns a commission from that partner. The partner can change, which is why no page here names it. Every other page on the site carries no paid link at all.
Who never pays
Casinos and poker rooms never pay this site. Neither do AGLC, Play Alberta or help services. Links to casinos and to help services are plain links, never paid ones.
No room is placed above another here, and no place in a list is for sale. The Rail reports what each room publishes: tables, games, hours. It gives no playing advice, no strategy and no view on which room is better.
Questions from the rail
Does a casino pay to appear on The Rail?
No casino pays to appear here. Casinos, poker rooms, AGLC, Play Alberta and help services never pay this site, and links to casinos are never paid.
Why is the online casino partner not named?
The partner can change, so the site does not name it. All three home-page links marked Ad lead to the same partner, and the site earns a commission from it.
